My bead soup partner is Debbie Goering from Prairie Emporium. I love her jewelry and I just love the
beads she sent me,
The mix in the first picture is handmade by her, Copper, Brass and Sterling Silver. Isn't that pendant just awesome? The second picture shows a Czeck glass bead mix, and the third some pearls. The fourth one is a copper chain and ring that she patinaed and sealed with wax, and a sterling silver toggle clasp. Here is some of her work.
This is how she sent me these great treats, wrapped in a hand painted fabric, makes me feel bad I just put my beads in a little plastic zipper bag. It's my first party, I know more the second one. I wasn't sure what to expect. This is definitely something I would do again!
Carola, we just got back from TX at 2:00 am today and I had a pkg from you, I love your beads!!! Will try to get pictures and post tomorrow. You are a great partner; it will be so much fun working with your beads.
ReplyDeleteThank You Debbie, I am glad you like them, I wasn't sure how many beads to send.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a good time :-)
The soup looks delicious. I bet what you make with it will be gorgeous. I can't wait for our reveal!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pendant!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful soup!! Her work is lovely. :3
ReplyDeleteAnd, don't feel bad, I did the same thing you did. XD It's logical that one would be a bit pampering toward one's partner, but I just didn't think of it for this first bead swap. Next time will be better. :)
Hi Carola - What a great and tasty bead mix! Especially love the metal Hope pendant. Looking forward to seeing what you whip up. :) Lisa
